Talk Description:

Almost a year ago, the global financial system faced a near death experience. The front page of newspaper filled with stories and rumors about layoffs, bank collapse, government bailout and nationalization. As worry grew, consumers and businesses responded to the fear by curtailing their spending. The economy came to a halt. In early March 2009, series of unprecedented government and corporate actions began to ease the market panic. As we stand today, the global financial system regained its footings. Unemployment rate and credit delinquent have showed some sign of stabilization. Consumer spending has grown faster than expected. The stock market has recovered most of its losses in 2009 with a 26% return in S&P500. Are we out of the woods yet? The panel who comes from different aspect of investing will share their different perspective of the future. No one has the crystal ball. Members are encouraged to share their insight via interactive Q&A.

Student or anyone who are considering career in finance, this is a great opportunity to meet with people who can provide valuable guidance.
